American Culinary Federation Approved Seminar / Dinner - ACF Competition Show Platters!!! with Garde Manger Specialist Martin Gilligan click here to register.

The nights will be lively, inexpensive, and includes many tasters.

First in a series of five workshops (5/22,6/26,7/24,8/21,9/25) that will allow the student/professional to devise a platter, continually improve it for review with Chef Martin until it is ready for the ACFLA competition at the Gas Company in Downey on October 16, Five workshops just $50pp!

Chefs on the Rise Culinary Competition at the 2006 LA County Fair

It is a pleasure to encourage you to get involved with the 2006 "Chefs of the Rise" Culinary Competition.

This competition is to promote up-and-coming chefs in restaurants that serve the public, who have not held executive chefs' positions for more than one year.

Check it out! 

-$5,000 in prize money!

-Deadline for semi-finals submissions is April 28, 2006

-Finals will be held at the 2006 LA County Fair.

-Judges for both the finals and semi-finals are distinguished and include a Julia Child Curator of Food Arts and host of the "Good Food" radio program.

-Much publicity is involved for all individuals competing in the competition, including multiple newpaper articles and commercials for the LA County Fair.
